Ceramics. Multifunctional objects and elements of study

The production of ceramics has been one of the most significant cultural factors throughout history. Changes in their shapes, decoration and finishing respond to the different functions of the pieces (daily use, storage, tableware, funerary furnishings, etc.) and their location (inside a room, as fragmented remains, or inside a tomb, etc.) give us some insight into the chronological and cultural evolution of the civilisations which produced them.
