The tombs of monarchs and priests are full of a wide range of artistry. Accompanying the ceramic recipients, we find other small pieces of incredible craftsmanship, such as necklaces made of jade and glass beads, chaquiras (dresses made with small jade or shell beads), breast plates, bone engraved with mythological scenes, and earrings with figurative animal and human motifs. In other words, these pieces reveal the artists’ deep sensitivity.
