This 2nd century funerary structure is probably related
to the nearby villa, located on the left bank of the River Gaià.
It is a square construction of ashlars on a podium with arch-shaped
decorations. The central body has mock Doric pilasters and a double
sloping tile roof. The interior walls still preserve part of the
original stucco and the six small niches(loculi), where
the urns containing the ashes of the deceased were placed. The
building has recently undergone extensive restoration work.
