Archaeological excavations carried out between 1923 and 1933 uncovered a very important early-Christian burial complex. Because of its significance, the cemetery was partially preserved in situ and a monographic museum was built. Here we can see the most representative items of early Christianity in Tàrraco: funerary offerings, sepulchral mosaics, gravestones, carved sarcophagi, etc.
